Location: Onsite - Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12 months
 

What You Bring:

• Recent, hands-on experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ideally for utility or site development work, used within the last 6-12 months

• Strong ability to handle 10-15 projects simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively

• Excellent communication skills for clear status updates and stakeholder interaction

• Ability to perform site inspections, verify equipment, and create design and plan sets

• Familiarity with hydrology calculations, Storm Sewer design, and the Autodesk suite including Vault

Nice to Have:

• PE license in North Carolina and South Carolina, with experience reviewing and sealing plans

• Utility experience, particularly in transmission or distribution projects

• Experience with Hydraflow Extensions and EPA SPCC requirements

• Experience supporting external consultants and ensuring compliance with standards

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 10 years of discipline-specific experience

• Engineering background with PE certification preferred but not required

• Proven history of developing and updating SPCC plans and site development drawings

Additional Requirements:

• Day travel to sites within 1-3 hours, with mileage reimbursement

• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 3 days in-office and 2 remote

• Willingness to participate in interview process via MS Teams, including potential Civil 3D demo
